Staycation in Style with a VW Campervan Holiday this Summer
22/06/2020This last year has been a bit of a challenge to say the least!
We are not made for staying at home and isolating we are social animals that want to explore and experience new adventures. Having no contact with other people and not leaving your town or village has been a real bind.
Thankfully there is light at the end of the tunnel, and we should soon be free to escape to the countryside.
What is the roadmap for coming out of lockdown?
As restrictions start to ease and life gets back to normal, we can all start thinking about getting away from captivity and planning a staycation in the UK. There is no better way to explore this great country than in a campervan.
Our campervans are fully equipped for touring around the UK and can accommodate 4 people sleeping inside with an optional external bedroom. We have onboard twin burner gas hobs, sink with running water, large fridge freezer, heating, LED Lighting, pop-top roof, and a range of optional extras such as external hot water shower, portaloo, driveaway awnings, bike racks.
So, when are we allowed to leave our homes and head out into the country?
March 29th
We are officially allowed to meet outside in groups of 6 and we will also be released from the stay-at-home restrictions. This means you could take a VW Campervan on a wild camping trip in your local area. By this we mean you could stay overnight “off grid” and be fully self-sufficient while taking a short trip to the coast.
Our campervans are fully equipped for touring around the UK without the need for campsites and electricity and can accommodate 4 people sleeping inside with an optional external bedroom. We have onboard twin burner gas hobs, a sink with running water, a large fridge freezer, heating, LED Lighting, a pop-top roof, and a range of optional extras such as an external hot water shower, portaloo, driveaway awnings, bike racks.

Campsites will officially open although they will likely have restricted facilities for use initially. However, you will be able to travel anywhere in the UK and so a few days by the Cornish coast or Norfolk broads is now officially on the cards. Pubs and restaurants with outdoor facilities can reopen and there will be no restrictions for the substantial meal, although customers must be seated.
